*    Neben dem knöchernen Ansatz an der Innenseite der Tibia unterhalb des medialen Kondylus strahlt die Sehne des M. semimembranosus auch in das Lig. popliteum obliquum und in eine Aponeurose aus, die das Ursprungsgebiet des M. popliteus überspannt.
In addition to the insertion below the medial condyle of the tibia, the tendon of the semimembranosus muscle radiates into the oblique popliteal ligament and into an aponeurosis which covers the area of the origin of the popliteus muscle.
