What you have to consider before visiting a doctor.

 

In Germany compulsory insured persons are free in choosing a doctor, dentist or therapist. It is only required that the doctor, dentist or therapist is licensed by a compulsory health insurance.

 

In addition to the practice-based doctors there are also medical care centers and hospital ambulances accredited for medical treatment.
