Choice of hospital
What you have to consider before choosing a hospital.
In case you are in need of hospital treatment the doctor will refer you for hospitalization. In an emergency, such as an accident or a sudden serious illness, hospital admission is also possible without a doctor's referral.
For hospital treatment the insured person has to make a co-payment of 10 Euro each day, but only for a maximum of 28 days per calendar year. The co-payment is invoiced directly by the hospital.
