Insurance card
With your personal insurance card you verify that you are a member ot a certain statutory health insurance.
Once you have decided in favor of a specific statutory health insurance and have applied for membership you will receive your personalized insurance card from this statutory health insurance.
Whenever you visit a doctor, dentist or hospital you will have to present this card so that any treatment you receive can be accounted for.
