Every year, the German business newspaper, Handelsblatt, conducts a quality analysis of statutory health insurance funds in collaboration with DFSI Ratings. For the 15th year running, TK has taken the top spot among statutory health insurance funds in the Handelsblatt ranking. Best consumer focus in Germany

In the ServiceAtlas 2025 study conducted by the German rating and ranking agency ServiceValue, TK once again emerged as the overall test winner with the top rating of "very good". The study compared 42 major statutory health insurance funds in Germany and evaluated customer satisfaction and service quality.

Best price-performance ratio

In the GKV Guide, each year the German Institute for Financial Services (DFSI) examines which statutory health insurance funds in Germany are most attractive for 10 selected customer profiles and offer the best individual deals. TK achieved the top rating of "excellent" in 9 of the 10 customer profiles and also received an additional award for the best price-performance ratio.

Best app among German statutory health insurance funds

The German Society for Consumer Studies surveyed users in Germany to find out which health insurance apps they had the best experiences with. Over 94,000 people took part and chose the TK-App as the best app among all statutory health insurance funds in Germany.

The German business magazine "Focus-Money" and the German Financial Services Institute (DFSI) analysed the specific needs of students in Germany and compared them with the services offered by 47 statutory health insurance funds. Best benefits for career starters

Techniker has been ranked top by the financial experts at the German magazine "€uro" when it comes to services for career starters in Germany. Travel vaccinations, online services, check-ups for insurees under 35, cash bonuses and contribution refunds if no benefits are claimed - all these criteria play an important role for young people at the beginning of their professional careers. And TK scores top marks in each of them.

Best value for money for families

The German parenting magazine "Eltern" has awarded TK the seal of approval for the best value for money. The statutory health insurance benefits offered by health insurance funds for families in Germany were examined for the 9th time. The result: TK is one of the "best health insurance funds for families" in Germany.

Best in test for digital services

Techniker impresses above all with its excellent online functions, digital health services and outstanding app. According to the experts at CHIP, TK’s digital services are the test winner in Germany. In their market analysis, they compared the digital services and quality of a total of 36 health insurance funds (22 statutory and 14 private health insurers). Techniker achieved top marks in the web category, among other top results.
