How do I get a PIN for the TK eHealth card?

You will need the PIN to register in the TK-Ident App . After you are registered, select the option to identify yourself using the eHealth card PIN.

Good to know: this PIN is not the TK-Ident security code. You set the security code yourself in the TK-Ident App.

With the TK-Ident App, you can create your personal TK-HealthID. This is a digital identity. The app works in the same way as the authorisation app used for online banking. This gives you secure access to digital health services such as:

Information on the E-RezeptYou can also get your E-Rezept or ePrescription by presenting your TK eHealth card or the printout you received at the doctor’s surgery when you visit the pharmacy. You do not need to provide a PIN at the pharmacy. You also do not need the PIN when you see the doctor.
