When does TK cover the costs of travel vaccinations? We will cover the costs if you need the vaccination for a private trip abroad and it is recommended by STIKO [the Standing Committee on Vaccination at the Robert Koch Institute]. The vaccination must also be administered at a statutory health insurance accredited doctor's surgery or a public health department. All that is required from you is a ten per cent co-payment for the vaccine; this will not be less than 5 EUR or more than 10 EUR.
