Which fitness trackers can I use for the TK-Fit Challenge?

If you use Thryve, then you can choose from a number of data sources to track your steps or distance covered by bike. The table below gives an overview of these.

Can I use different data sources for steps and distances covered by bike?

Yes, you can use one source to count steps and another for cycling.

Why can't I see my steps and distances cycled straight away in TK-Fit?

It can take several minutes for the step data to be transferred to TK-Fit. Unfortunately, it takes a little longer for cycling data to be processed; around one hour during the pilot phase. We are already working on an optimisation.

Why can't I see my cycling data even though the data has just been synchronised?

After being called up from the data source, cycling data are processed to give a daily total. For this reason, it may take longer for the data to be displayed.

Can I switch to another data source during an ongoing challenge?

Yes, you can change data sources at any time. The TK-Fit Challenge will continue to run. In order not to compromise the current week of the TK-Fit Challenge, data from the last two weeks will be called up from the new data source retroactively. The weeks which have been completed are not affected.

I can no longer get up-to-date data from my data source. What should I do?

There may be a number of reasons for this. The selected data source can be reconnected either in the Settings or on the detailed pilot phase page. If that doesn't help, change your data source.

Can I end the test phase?

Yes, the test phase can be ended at any time. Simply call up the information on the pilot phase on the TK-Fit dashboard and execute the "End pilot phase" feature at the end of the following page. You will then no longer be able to participate in the challenge.

What happens if I switch from Android to an iPhone during the test phase?

It is currently not possible to switch to an iOS device. We are working on a solution to also include iPhone devices during the test phase. If you wish to continue using TK-Fit after changing devices, it is important that you finish the test phase before switching.

What happens to my data?

Your data is read and pseudonymised so that it can be used for your challenge. Information on this can be found in the conditions of participation that you agreed to at the start of the test phase. These are saved in the settings.

Is the automatically recognised cycling training on my Fitbit also taken into account?

The answer is, unfortunately, no. With automatically recorded cycling activities the distance covered is not measured. For cycling to be logged in TK-Fit, you have to start recording cycling activities manually.

Are my manually saved data taken into account?

No, only recorded data can be taken into account.

How does the running challenge work? What are the goals I have to achieve?

Over eight to ten weeks, run at least 90 minutes and 10 kilometres per week. This will earn you points for the TK Bonus Plan and attractive rewards from our cooperation partners.

Running challenge: Which data sources can I use for recording the distance?

You can continue to use the same data sources.

How often can I get a bonus in the TK Bonus Plan for a running challenge?

The running challenge can only be considered once per participation year.

5. How can I submit the running challenge to the TK Bonus Plan?

The challenge can be credited in the Bonus Plan after successfully completing eight weeks.

Will I be awarded premiums for the running challenge?

Yes, after successful completion of week three and week six, you will receive a voucher from our partners.

Can I also include indoor activities such as running on a treadmill for the running challenge?

Yes, however there are only a few devices technically equipped to track-running on a treadmill.
