I have got a prescription for physiotherapy. What do I need to do?
Simply present your prescription to a licensed, SHI physiotherapy practice. Our German-language online search function will help you find a physiotherapist. You don’t need to have the prescription approved in advance.If your doctor has not made a note of the latest start date for treatment on the prescription, you have to start therapy within 28 calendar days of the prescription being issued.If the doctor makes a note on the prescription that treatment is urgent and must start within 14 days, then you have to start treatment on the 14th day after the prescription was issued at the latest.
