Troubleshooting with the TK-Ident App
Here you will find quick solutions to problems which can occur when using the TK-Ident App.You may be shown an error message in the TK-Ident App and not be able to log in for example. If you have had the app open for too long without using it, it may no longer work. In that case, you will have to close and open it again. A smartphone may occasionally not recognise your TK eHealth card or ID card. Read on for more details on the best way to proceed. Important: It is currently not possible to register one person on two different devices in the TK-Ident App. We are working on a solution.
Close TK-Ident via your smartphone’s task manager and restart later to avoid this error. If this does not help, try deleting and reinstalling the TK-Ident App.
There are many reasons why this problem might occur. Please remember to hold the eHealth card or ID card still on the device for as long as necessary.One of the following error messages may be shown. Please note that these may not necessarily apply:invalid cardforeign cardblocked PINWait until the following screen is displayed. Please first check that you are using your personal eHealth card for the TK-Ident App.If you are using your personal ID card to identify yourself, check again that you have entered the number correctly. You might be using an old eHealth card by mistake or possibly even your child’s eHealth card.If you are using your personal identity card, there are currently certain constellations where we are unable to uniquely identify you using this data.
