Thomas Ballast is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
At TK, he is responsible for the following divisions:Service & Operations (SO)Innovation and Outpatient Care (IV)Care Management (VS)He has been a member of the Board since 1 July 2012.The graduate economist (born in 1962) was previously Chairman of the Board of the Verband der Ersatzkassen (vdek) [the Association of Substitute Health Funds]. Prior to that, he held various positions of responsibility in the German statutory health insurance sector.
