We are there to support you when you are so seriously ill that you are temporarily unable to run your household and there is nobody in the home who can take on this job for you. The requirements for this vary depending on whether you have children or not.

If you have children

You live with a child who is younger than 14 or has a disability and therefore requires assistance.

You qualify for domestic help under the following circumstances:

  • you have to go to hospital
  • you require treatment as an outpatient or inpatient in a care or rehabilitation facility
  • you receive nursing care at home
  • you have to accompany your other child to hospital

If you do not have children

You qualify for domestic help in the following cases in particular:

  • you are recovering from a stay in hospital
  • you are recovering from outpatient surgery
  • you are recovering from outpatient hospital treatment

Your home help with support you for a maximum of four weeks (if necessary this assistance can be extended for a further two weeks).
