How do I get an appointment with my doctor?

The TK-AppointmentService cannot arrange appointments if you need to see a doctor urgently. If you need an appointment within the next three days, please go directly to your medical specialist - possibly even without an appointment.

In emergencies, either go to the hospital's Accident and Emergency department or call the ambulance service (phone 112) or emergency medical care service (phone 116 117, only available in Germany).

We may not arrange appointments for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, such as those with a psychotherapist or neurologist. The German-language patient service at www.116117.de can assist you in arranging such appointments.

KG's data protection information can be found here.With regard to the data collected by the TK-AppointmentService, a distinction is made between insuree-related data (insurance number, family name, first name, date of birth, address, e-mail, telephone number) and the data required to schedule an appointment (appointment criteria and requests, diagnoses, symptoms, information about the channel for responding to appointment requests, data on the scheduled appointment). Insuree-related data are erased four weeks after the scheduled appointment. If no appointment is scheduled, the data are erased four weeks after the attempts to make an appointment have ceased. The appointment scheduling process is thus anonymised. Logs of attempts to make an appointment are stored permanently with no personal reference.The company commissioned by TK treats insurees’ medical records in strict confidence. As such, TK is prevented from receiving any medical information about the reason for which the insuree is using the TK-AppointmentService. For invoice verification purposes the company commissioned by TK transmits billing-relevant contact information to TK.
