Yes, there is! The health check-up. The intervals at which you can have this check-up performed vary depending on how old you are. Its main purpose is to help detect cardiovascular diseases, kidney disease and high blood sugar (diabetes mellitus) in their early stages.

18 to 34 years
At this age, you have a one-off opportunity to see your doctor for a health check-up. The costs are billed directly using your TK eHealth card.
We also offer you another check-up every 36 months as a non-statutory benefit if there are any risk factors that indicate declining health or imminent disease. This decision will be made by your doctor.
You will receive an itemised private invoice for the costs of this non-statutory benefit. We will reimburse the costs in full up to a maximum of 35 EUR.
35 years and over
You can have a health check-up every three calendar years. There must be at least two full calendar years between check-ups.
The costs are also billed directly using your TK eHealth card.
