As soon as your employer informs us that your continued remuneration is ending, we will automatically send you a questionnaire on sickness benefit. Or you can just send us your information online. Please note, however, that this service is currently only available in German.

You will then receive your first sickness benefit payment. This also applies if you become unfit for work during the first four weeks of a new job.
By the way, many doctors already send us a statement of fitness for work electronically.
