There are numerous ways to manage your TK-HealthID and the TK-Ident App. Read on for more details.

More details

Managing devices

You can set up and use the TK-Ident App on several devices at the same time.

List of devices

The list of devices can be found in the TK-Ident App settings. The devices which have been registered with your TK-HealthID are shown.
Please note: The TK-Ident App is deleted from the device by the operating system and the TK-HealthID will not register this. Under certain circumstances an old device may still be listed.

If the TK-Ident App is set up on and then deleted from the same device several times, the device will appear on the list several times. The entry which starts with "This device" is the most recent one. This allows you to easily recognise and delete older entries for the same device.

Removing a device

Use the remove device function:

  • to uncouple a device from your TK-HealthID, for example if your device is no longer in your possession (the device has been lost or sold etc.)
  • to tidy up the list of devices

Changing a name

If you use a number of similar devices, you can change their names to recognise them more easily.

Unblocking a device

Have you blocked your device or had all your devices blocked? Proceed as follows to unblock these:

  • Log into the blocked device using an alternative method, e.g., with your eHealth card and PIN or ID card and PIN. Select "This device" from the list and unblock the device.
  • If you are using another device with the TK-Ident App on it, select the blocked device from the list and unblock it.
  • Delete the TK-Ident App from the device and set it up again, including identification.

Viewing your history

You can view the history of your TK-HealthID in the settings under your login and change history.

Only you can see in your TK-Ident App installations for which DiGA you are registered.

Revoking consent

When you register for a DiGA for the first time, you agree to the transfer of data. In the settings, you can view the consents you have given for each DiGA and also see the consent history. You can also revoke your consent here. If you revoke your consent to the transfer of the specified data, you must give this again when you re-register for the DiGA.

When setting up the TK-Ident App, you consent to our terms of use and acknowledge our data privacy policy. You can view the history for this and also revoke your consent. If you withdraw your consent, you will no longer be able to use the TK-Ident App and your TK-HealthID. This will be deleted immediately following revocation.

New or unknown ID card

If you use your ID card to identify yourself, the service and card-specific identifier is stored on your TK-HealthID. This can be used for logging in with your ID card. If you have not yet used your ID card, the number is not stored on the TK-HealthID. This must be done first. The TK-Ident App will guide you through the necessary identification process using your ID card and PIN.

If you get a new ID card, you have to repeat the identification process for the TK-HealthID using this new ID.

My data

To view the data which is stored with your TK-HealthID, click on personal data in the TK-Ident App settings. If you need to change this data, contact us to make the necessary changes.

An e-mail address will only be stored if you have a "Meine TK" account and have confirmed your address there. You can change and verify your e-mail address yourself via "Meine TK".

If you delete your TK-HealthID, your data will also be deleted.

You will find more information on this in the data privacy policy.

TK-HealthID opt-out

You don't want to use the TK-HealthID? In that case, simply do not register for it via the TK-Ident App. If there are reasons why you wish to disable the registration option altogether, please get in touch.

If you would like to opt in again just get in contact with us.

Blocking a device or the TK-HealthID

If your device has been lost or stolen, you must block it immediately.

If you suspect that your TK-HealthID has been misused, you must also block it immediately.

Blocking a device

You can block a device in the settings using another device on which the TK-Ident App has been installed. Select the device and block it. Please note that once a device has been blocked, you can no longer log in with it using your TK-HealthID.

Contact us if you cannot block your device yourself. We can block all your devices for you.

Only you can unblock your devices.

Blocking the TK-HealthID

Get in touch with us to have your TK-HealthID blocked. You cannot block the TK-HealthID in the TK-Ident App yourself.

Has one of your means of identification, e.g., your eHealth card with PIN or your ID card with PIN been lost or stolen? If so, proceed as follows:

  • Lost or stolen eHealth card with PIN: Have your card blocked by us. For details on this click here .
  • Lost or stolen ID card with PIN: Have your card blocked immediately, Click here for details on how this is done.

If, for example, you have lost your ID card and cannot block it using your PIN, ask us to block your TK-HealthID to prevent misuse. If there are other grounds to suspect that your TK-HealthID has been misused, have it blocked straight away. If your suspicions are not confirmed, get in contact with us to have your TK-HealthID unblocked.
